Oracle CX Marketing Eloqua Insight

All Eloqua Marketing users have access to Insight, the powerful Eloqua reporting module built on the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) platform. We’ve brought together a range of resources to help you get the most out of Eloqua Insight with your campaign and contact data.

As many marketers race from one campaign to the next, it’s easy to miss the insight that can be discovered in your overall campaign performance.

The first thing to understand about Insight.

Eloqua provides two levels of access to Insight. These are explained to the right as Insight “Reporter” and  “Analyzer” users.

Each edition of Eloqua includes access to Insight as a Reporter or Analyzer user for all licensed Eloqua users. e.g. if you have 35 Eloqua users, all users have access to Insight Reporter and 35 can have access to Insight Analyzer.

The Analyzer user is generally the more data-oriented team member or Business Analyst, a person more familiar with BI platforms and someone who confidently understands data structures. We would suggest that Analyzer access is not provided to all users.

Insight Analyzer licenses are assigned by the Eloqua Administrator. It’s our experience that those changes in access can take up to 24 hours to become active once assigned to a user.

Insight “Reporter” User

All Eloqua users have access to Insight. This basic reporting platform provides access to 100+ pre-configured reports providing exceptional detail about the engagement of your contacts across your various campaigns.

Insight “Analyzer” User

Analyzer provides all of the same access as Insight, however Analyzer provides the more data-savvy digital marketer with the ability to configure your own reports and to build dashboards within Insight for the wider marketing team.
