I’ve been in and around these two teams for 20+ years and running in parallel was always a lofty goal and in some cases, we came close.
Unification is an entirely new ball game. It’s about being made into a whole, one body. When Streich made these comments during this webinar, my initial thought was “Perhaps we are finally in a state, from a technology point of view where we have systems and processes that could actually support the idea of unification.”

The major change with Redwood is that it’s now available to all Eloqua users. It’s still technically Controlled Availability, however, all Eloqua users will be able to switch between Redwood and Classic screens using the left-hand side menu. Access to Redwood no longer requires you to opt-in.
Release 23D Highlights
- Oracle Labs has released its Eloqua-Zoom App. It’s available in Controlled Availability. One significant change from the previous Oracle Labs ZOOM App is that you can work with ZOOM Webinar and ZOOM Meetings. You can also personalise join links using the Zoom Content Service. You access it from Cloud Content, within the Email or Landing Page Design Editors.
- The Redwood Experience switch is available to all users with Release 23D. You will no longer have to submit a Service Request with My Oracle Support. All users can turn Redwood Experience on and off via the hamburger menu in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Click here to learn more.
- Form Spam Protection Customisations. You can now make changes to the parameters for spam protection. The current minimum Form Submit time is 3 seconds. You can now adjust it from 1 second to 5 seconds depending on the CX, expected form pro-population and form length. This function is designed to help you limit form bot submission. Form Spam Protection is currently released under our Controlled Availability program – click here to learn more.
- Guided Campaigns* new tactics added. The new multi-step nurture tactic includes up to 5 emails with certain emails triggered to those who click or do not click.
