Salesforce’s Dreamforce event kicked off with news of its continued investment in generative AI & its Data Cloud solution.

Salesforce announced its new Einstein 1 platform, which allows companies to connect any of their data to build low-code, AI-powered apps. Einstein 1 will give marketers a taste of how generative AI can fuel new CRM experiences.

Salesforce is also making Data Cloud more accessible to customers. Customers with Salesforce CRM Enterprise or Enterprise Unlimited editions of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud will be granted access to Data Cloud, in addition to two Tableau creator licenses.

Salesforce will also provide 250,000 credits, which enable customers to onboard onto Data Cloud and develop Sales and Service Cloud use cases at no additional cost.

A lot of companies that you’re partnering with, especially on the consumer side – you know how they operate … it is a well known secret that they’re using your data to make money.

That is not what we do at Salesforce. Your data isn’t our product. You control access to your data. We need some new standards.
